Lucky Blackjack Review

While the outcome of a game of standard blackjack is usually completely obvious, players will often need to guess at the outcome of a game of Lucky Blackjack. This offering from Playtech is just one of many new ways for players to enjoy the classic game of blackjack.

How it is Played

Like standard blackjack, the goal of the game is to beat the dealer with a score of 21 or as close to 21 as possible without busting--going over the score of 21. While players only have a few options for placing bets in blackjack, Lucky Blackjack breaks the mold and allows players seven betting options on any of five hand values, similar to placing bets in roulette. Once all of the bets have been laid out, play can begin.

The Deal and the Cards

As with standard blackjack, face cards and 10s are worth 10 points, Aces are worth one or 11 points and cards two through nine are worth their face values. The cards are dealt one at a time to both the player and the dealer; rules for hitting on a soft 17 still apply, as well. Players can review the values of their hands and hit or stand as they see fit in an effort to collect a payout.

The Payout

Depending on the numbers that a player has bet upon, the payout scale varies. For instance, a player may have chosen to bet on 17 being the winning number before the deal. If the player or the dealer does, in fact, win the hand with a score of 17, the player receives compensation whether he won the hand or not. However, if the player busts, he is not entitled to any payout at all. The payout varies depending upon the numbers selected by the player.

Lucky Blackjack puts a new spin on one of the world's most beloved classic casino games that allows for more wins than ever before. By following this guide, players have already learned the basic rules of play.
